he frowned. “i know, but i’m not losing another kid. besides, i know that you guys have been tweaking it.”

She frowned. “Yes, tweaking it. But we still don’t know what the side effects could be. And it may not even work.” She said. “I know you’re upset, Gabriel. But we can’t just up and do this to Jesse.” She said.

[dannychan]

he hissed. “if you let another one of my kids die, i will put you in the ground.” he growled.

She frowned. “Gabriel, I did all I could for your son. There wasn’t anything more I could do!” She said, looking him over.

Jesse had been watching them silently as they spoke. He soon let out a shaky, pained breath. His eyes soon closed and his body went limp.

he hisses. “then make up for what happened with jesse. maybe then i’ll believe you.”

She blinked before sighing. “I’ll do what I can.” She said. “Jesse, how are you-“ she trailed off when she turned to him. She realized he wasn’t breathing. Her eyes widened. “...I’ll go get the test from Moira. Hopefully that can bring him back.” She said. She then turned, heading off to Moira’s office.

Jack had entered the medical wing. He then looked around before spotting Gabe and Jesse. He quickly moved over to them. He froze when he spotted Jesse. “Is...Is he dead?” Jack asked.

Gabe was too busy biting his nails to actually respond, seeming to have completely shut down.

Jack glanced over at Gabe. He slowly moved over, pulling Gabe close to him. He rubbed his side slowly

Gabe leaned on him, staring ahead nervously.
