after a bit, a man had walked up, wearing a black shirt and a cop cap that looked old and ratty, with a matching old coat. he had paused when he saw the small male sitting on the curb, and looked down at him. “hey. you ok?” he asked, fixing his cap and standing with his hands in his pockets.

[peridot.]

Muse blinked and looked up when he heard footsteps, but he tensed up when he saw it was a man. He relaxed after a moment, however, and said quietly, sighing, "Not really. Had a bit of a bad night, and I ran off from where my friend was, and... And I ran straight to my fucking work and now I've gotta wait for my friend to pick me up."

he blinked. “what a coincidence. i’m the night guard here.” he chuckled and moved to sit next to him. he held a hand out it shake. “mike schmidt.” he introduced. 

[peridot.]

He blinked and smiled softly, moving to shake the other's hand and say quietly, "It's nice to meet you. I'm Muse Caddo. Like I said, I work here. I'm just a waiter though." He then said, glancing up at the sign, "I didn't even know this place had night guards."

[dannychan]

he hummed. “exactly. i don’t start work until tomorrow, though.” he said and smiled slightly.

[peridot.]

He said softly, smiling a bit and tilting his head, "Ah, you don't? Guess I'm lucky you were here now then. I mean, for the company."

[dannychan]

he chuckled. “yeah. i had just realised i was out of milk, and all i wanted to do was make cereal.” he sighed and smiled.

[peridot.]

He smiled and said, laughing softly, "Awww, that sucks." He then said, gently tugging at the skirt that was resting on his leg, over the pants he was wearing. Immy was the one who had convinced him to wear it, "I had a bad night cause my friend brought me to a club for the first time in a while."

[dannychan]

he hummed. “people got too touchy?@

Muse didn't really get out that much anymore. He had realized that when Immy had come home and announced that he was becoming a hermit. He kind of had to admit that, considering he was doing his waiter job and also aggressively studying for his medical school stuff, and practically came home and collapsed into bed every night in exhaustion without even doing anything. He supposed that he could benefit from going out and having some fun. However, when he had agreed to go out, he didn't think that Immy meant that they were going to a fucking gay club together. Needless to say, the little hermit hadn't had that much of a fun time, and he had stormed off after quite a few inappropriate comments. He had, incidentally, stormed right to his work. He realized this too late, blinking up at the sign for the restaurant and sighing softly. It was around midnight, so he doubted anybody would be around. Sighing, he sat down on the curb and pulled his phone out to text Immy to pick him up.
