Muse had been informed by Immy that his 'boy toy' - her words not his -had left him a gift outside, and he had been overjoyed when he saw the little basket and the muffin. He had tried to keep it for a while just to appreciate it, but around lunch time he had gotten hungry and quickly chomped it down. Now, it was pretty damn late at his apartment. It was around 6:30 AM, and Muse had the next day off, so he had stayed up practically all night playing video games. As he hummed and played Skyrim, he wondered how Mike's first night of work had gone.

mikes first night had gone so horribly, that it had come to the point that he was pacing outside muses apartment, shaking like a leaf and muttering to himself, before knocking on the door. he didn’t know whoelse to go to, so he had ran (literally sorinted) our of the diner and to the males apartment. he knocked on the door quite loudly and cursed, drawing his hands away and making a soft panicked noise as he looked over his shoulder.

Muse jumped as he heard the loud knocks on the door, and he frowned cautiously. Nobody ever came this late, so he naturally felt nervous. Putting the controller down, he moved to grab the bat that they kept in case emergencies, moving to open the door with the bat on his shoulder. When he saw it was Mike, he frowned and said softly, putting the bat down near the door, "Mike...? Are you okay? You seem scared.."

he made a nervous noise and looked over his shoulder again. “the-..” he lt out a deep breath, leaning forward so that he could whisper into the males ear. “the animatronics are ducking alive. one cane at me and i broke it’s head.” he hissed, looking down at his bloody knuckles. “i-it was scraping at the office door.. i-i was running out of power.. i- i didn’t know whatelse to do, and oh god i can’t go back there, th-they’re gonna kill me oh god..” he said as tears began to form and covered his eyes.

Muse blinked in panicked surprise, frowning slightly at the other's words. His first reaction was obviously to think the other was lying or crazy or something, but he didn't say that, instead gently touching the other's arm and saying softly, "Hey, hey, come inside. Here, you can sit down and calm down and explain better. You're safe.." His tone was incredibly calming, and it was obvious he was used to calming people because of his training.

he nodded, stepped inside slowly, struggling with his jacket and hanging it on a hook. he was wearing a fairly tight white button up with short sleeves underneith that really showed off all of his muscles. he moved straight to the couch and sat on the edge, one leg bouncing so badly that it was clearly visinle.

Muse also felt exhausted, but he was so excited that adrenaline was running through him. Humming happily, he moved off to his bedroom and put Mike's number down, curling up under the covers and happily dozing off.
