Malice glanced down at him before looking up. A sudden low growling sound emitted from him as he shakily rose to his feet. His gaze cast upwards to the sky, glancing around slowly.

he frowned. “what is it?”

Malice looked around. He spotted a dragon flying overhead. It was the of Sif was one before. It looked like it was alone though. The dragon stopped and was sort of just hovering in one spot. Its gaze was fixed on them. Malice shook his head before suddenly flapping his wings and flying up into the air towards it. He stopped a few feet away, starting to talk to it in his own language. The dragon eyed Malice before suddenly flying towards him, letting out a frost breath at him. Malice roared in pain, but kept himself up. He then flew towards the other dragon, clamping his jaws onto the dragon's wing. The dragon raised a claw, slashing at his face. Malice growled but kept a hold of it.

He used his front back feet to start clawing at the dragon. The dragon roared, suddenly biting at his shoulder. Malice let go, flying back a few feet.

"Malice!" A voice called out. The dragon looked over, spotting Atreus outside. Malice spotted him as well. The dragon swooped suddenly plummeting towards Atreus. Malice quickly flew down, quickly getting in between Atreus and the dragon. The dragon let out a roar before biting down on Malice's neck. Malice let out a pained sound, struggling to get away, but the dragon kept a tight hold on his neck. He felt the dragon's sharp claws pierce his chest and cut down, leaving a large gash in his chest. The dragon then tossed Malice aside.

Malice's wings gave up on him, causing him to crash down to the ground, skidding a bit before he came to a halt. The dragon eyed them, growling before turning and moving off, clearly beaten as well.

Malice's breathing was heavy and labored. Blood was beginning to pool around him. His claws dug into the ground as he struggled to get back onto his feet, but he failed, only collapsing back down.

he quickly ran over onec the fight was done. “damn it!”

Atreus's eyes widened. He quickly moved over to Malice, kneeling down by him. He set a hand on his head. He looked him over. "Why did you fight him? You knew you couldn't win." He whispered. Malice closed his eyes and his mouth drew pack into a pained growl.

"Rather me then you or the others getting hurt." He whispered. His eyes shifted to Atreus. Atreus pet his head, trying to keep the dragon calm.

"There's got to be someway we can heal you! You can't just die now." Atreus said.

"There's nothing to be done, Atreus." Malice whispered. Atreus looked him over. Malice's gaze soon shifted to the sky. Malice's body seemed to relax as he let out a long breath and his eyes closed. Atreus looked him over, eyes wide.

his eyes widened and he looked down.

Atreus kept a hand on Malice. He looked him over before glancing down. His eyes closed and he released a shaky breath.

he gently samet an arm on atreus’s shoulder and frowned.

Atreus slowly moved his hand away from Malice. He kept his gaze down. "...Are you okay?" He asked quietly
