i think my only issue with making one of the unofficial groups official is that they're all kind of.... theme-ey? like they're less about morality and more about a theme ("witches", "arts", "ancient civilization"), and while they're all cool themes, most of them kind of fall... idk, lukewarm on the morality scale? and honestly i'm getting progressively more and more bored with the lukewarm. we have lukewarm good, lukewarm bad, and vaguely neutral. i'd love to see a very extreme bad or a very extreme good, i'd love to see more overall tensions.

i've said this a couple times before but like, the reason why i'm not joining more tnw groups isn't because of a lack of plots or personal muse, it's because they kind of,,, bore me? i like extremes myself. i like good people who want to take down evil, not just stand around and let it happen with a vague peace treaty. i like bad people who are really bad, not just decent people who do some shitty things - like pit fights and "strongest survive around here" kind of things. this isn't meant to attack any of the current groups or leaders, because i understand that some people are into these kinds of groups, but i myself am not. i stick to the badlands because they're the closest thing to an extreme, and even then, they're not extreme.

personally, while i'd love an extreme on both ends, i think an extreme "good" group could be fun? like people who see bad things and bad people and actively work against it. flintlock seems like the closest thing we have to a pro group at this point, and they really kind of border on neutral these days, so i'd love to see a very non-peaceful pro group myself?

i dunno, this is kind of rambling. but like i'd just love to see a really extreme group for raiding/fighting/enemies etc, since the current alliance between the three groups is just... completely destroying my muse and leaving me hella bored.

I don’t think badlands will ever be a “strongest survive”, brutal savage group (at least while I’m leading)
So it would be interesting to see more extremes like that, yes

Also, since most unofficial groups are still relatively new, they need interaction before they can develop, meaning that putting them anywhere on the moral scale is going to be very difficult straight of the bat. They need a chance before they can push themselves forwards. I was planning on having NC eventually become rather forceful in terms of trying to fight for what it is that they deem to be good, even if they themselves aren't 100% stellar, and then it becomes a discussion on personal morality, but I can't do that now since they've only just come out of isolation + they need a chance to do other things first.
