after a bit, salem suddenly sat with him. “hey moherfucker.” he groaned and leaned on his shoulder. he seemed pretty sleepy, but that was pretty normal for him.

He frowned at the sigh and said quietly, "I'll only like it if it's extremely short." He then reached out for the other, frowning, "Babe, come here. Lay down with me and stop making that face."
Kyle made a soft noise as the other plopped down against him, and he mumbled as he put his food down and tilting his head to kiss the other on the head, "Hey meanie."

he huffed. “i’m not going to lay down on the bed because last time i did, your stitches ripped.” he said and sat in a chair.
he smiled and hummed, turning his head to kiss his cheek. “whatcha reading?”

[peridot.]

Peter groaned and let his head fall back on the pillows, huffing, "Wade, I'm not dying. It's almost time for me to get out of here!"
He said softly, opening the book back up, "It's a book about old supers. Talking about their stories and stuff."

he hummed. “oh well!”
salem chuckled. “need~” he said, grabbing the book and slipping a not card in to mark the page and setting it aside. “pay attention to me! i’m needy and impatient~”

[peridot.]

He sighed and said, sticking his tongue out at the other, "Are you all just going to act like I'm a fragile little doll forever? Cause it's getting annoying."
Kyle squeaked and said, huffing softly as he looked at the other, "Pay attention to you?"

wade moved to kiss him deeply. “as soon as that heals, i’ll treat you like in absolute ragdoll~” he mumbled.
he smiled and nodded, giggling. “yesss~?” he said and nuzzled him. “how are your cuts?”

[peridot.]

He kissed back, making a pleased noise at the deep kiss. He then said, laughing softly, "Good. Cause I still haven't gotten my turn to have fun~"
He blinked and smiled slightly as he was nuzzled. He hesitated for a moment before reaching up to gently pull off the bandages that were on his face, revealing the scarring over claw scars over one side of his face, "They're almost done healing, I just haven't wanted to take the bandages off.."

he smiled. “you’ll get it eventually.” he said softly.
he nodded and moved to kiss him gently, before kissing gently along a scar. “it’ll get better eventually.

Peter was starting to get really fucking tired of being treated like he was made of glass. Sure, he knew he had gotten a bit screwed up, but he was all stitched up now, and the only reason he was still in the hospital was so that they could make sure he didn't start bleeding again. He had been doted over by practically everyone since he had gotten here, and he was itching for it to stop. At least Tony had finally agreed to go back to the tower for a little while. Wade wouldn't, though. He'd been acting like Peter would fucking disappear into dust hah at any time. Peter looked up as the door to his room opened, and he saw his boyfriend with that kicked puppy look still on his face. He sighed, deciding to try and make him laugh, "You know, if you think that this whole experience is gonna make me want to see you in a sexy nurse outfit, you're wrong."
Meanwhile, Kyle had been pretty conflicted ever since he and Salem had kissed and spent the night cuddling. It wasn't that he hadn't liked it, hhe was just sort of nervous around the other now. He was still healing up from slicing himself up, and right now was sitting outside their high school, eating lunch and reading quietly by himself.
