Ten blinked, looking her over. He seemed a bit tense, but was keeping himself calm. He slowly reached out to her. The lioness looked at Ten’s hand, letting out a low growl, flicking her tail. Ten watched her, smiling his hand. After a minute, he gently rested his hand on her neck, starting to let her slowly. She shifted a bit, but seemed to settle down, brushing her head against his arm. Ten blinked.

“...If we can tame her, that would mean More protection for us.” Ten said.

the boy frowned. “you can’t.. you can’t tame a w-wild.. wild adult..” he mumbled.

“Well...Perhaps not tame but...it’s clear it’s lived around humans for its life so it must have been inna somehwere.” He said, continuing to pet her

the boy frowned. “even zoo animals.. turn against.. the trainers..” he mumbled. murphy frowned. “you got a muzzle you can put on it? mittens for its claws?” he asked. “because i’m pretty sure i don’t want to get mauled.”

He blinked. “Dogs can turn against owners too.” He said. He looked her over. “I’m at least going to help her get up and moved into the first a bit. She’s too exposed out here on the road

he frowned. “fine! get her in the trunk!”

Ten glanced at the lion. He then stood up. “...Come on girl.” He said quietky. She flickedher ear before slowly shifting. She let out a low rumble but limped over to the truck. He then looked at the bed of the truck. He lowered the tailgate. “Come on up.” He said. The lion looked at the tailgate, flicking her ear before hopping up into it.

murphy watched and sighed. “idiot..”

Ten looked over at Murphy. He sighed. “...I’ll look after her. And if anything happens, I’ll clamin full responsibility for it.” Ten said.

murphy growled. “damn right you will.” he said and curled against the car door.
