he frowned. “yeah?”

“...I’m sorry.” He whispered. “I...I never wanted to stay in talon. But I was already a member once I joined the deadlock gang. And I’ve just been afraid of what would happen if I left.” He whisoered

he nodded. “well, you’re protected here, ok? it’ll be fine.” he said softly and moved to wrap an arm around him.

Jesse blinked, slowly leaning into Gabe. He glanced down, sniffing. He let his eyes close

he gently rubbed his shoulder, frowning. “just so you know.. i could tell talon you died.”

Jesse looked over at Gabe. “They’d never believe that Gabe. Like I said, I’m not the only undercover spy. Someone else could tell them I’m still alive.” He said. He glanced away. “...It’s alright.” He whisoered. He waited a while before slowly getting to his feet. He then turned away from Gabe, taking a few steps forward. He then stopped.

“...Gabe? I...I always thought of you as a father figure as well.” He whisoered. He then moved off, heading back into the base.

Gabe watched him and sighed softly, waiting a bit before walking back inside.

After a while, Jack had gone to the elevators. He was planning on heading up to the roof to check on Gabe.

in the elevator sat- or hovered in the air, legs cried-crossed- was a very please looking jenos. he looked up when he saw the door open. “afternoon.” he greeted.
