his eyes widened and he looked at her. “force.. can i hug you?” he breathed.

She blinked and smiled, nodding a bit. Moving over to him, she hugged him gently, saying softly, "You're going to be my son in law, of course you can hug me."

he snorted and chuckled, hugged her tightly. “thank you..”

She smiled and said, nodding, "You're welcome. Anyways, half of the reason I came here was to give you my blessing, so I'm glad to hear good news."

he smiled and nodded, moving away. “well, thank you.”

She smiled and nodded, saying softly, "You're welcome. Now, I'll leave you to your work."

he smiled and nodded. “uh.. should i ask him while you’re here or.. wait?” he asked.

"Hmm... I suppose while I'm here. He'll want to tell me anyways." She said, smiling softly.

he smiled slightly and nodded. “i certainly plan on it, yeah..”

She smiled and said, reaching into her uniform and pulling out a small silver band, "Armi has had... Several mother figures in his life. First his real mother, then Brendol's wife, and then me. Unfortunately his real mother never got married, so I couldn't get a ring from her, but this is his step mother's ring, and I think it would mean a lot to him if when you decide to propose, you use this." She then handed the engagement band over to him, smiling.
