After a while, the group had returned from their patrol. John ended up being assigned to go out with them on a patrol. The group seemed fairly exhausted though and timid. Daryl glanced over, frowning. “Hey? Everything alright?” Daryl asked, moving over to them. Maggie, who was also part of the patrol, looked over at Daryl.

“We had to cut it short. A zombie horde managed to catch us by surprise. Some people look like they’re hurt, so I need to check them over to make sure nobody got bit.” She said

sherlock, of course, had followed john on the patrol, and was holding onto john tightly, trying to act normal, but his shoe was covered in blood. rick frowned. “was anyone bit?” he asked, moving to check maggie over quickly.

Maggie frowned. “I’m Alrigt Rick.” She said. Daryl frowned, starting to check others over.

John had taken Sherlock a ways from the group. He then stood with him, turning to face Sherlock. He then looked him over. “Are you alright Sherlock?” He askes, gently setting a hand on his arm

sherlock slowly looked down at his leg, shaking slightly and looking at john. he looked.. horrified, honestly.

John looked him over before looking down at Sherlock’s leg. His eyes widened a bit. He had fallen silent and stared down at the blood. He was silent for a moment before glancing up at Sherlock. “....Come on. Let’s get that leg washed up.” He whisoered. He then started leading Sherlock back to the room they were staying in
