John kept him close, rubbing his back slowly. He placed a soft kiss to the top of his head.

Daryl nodded. “Yes.” He whisoered, his voice seeming a bit strained.

Castiel looked at Dean, slwoly hugging him back. “My apologies. I meant to get back you you two sooner. But problems arose which held me back.” He said

he leaned into him, holding onto john.
rick nodded and brushed daryl’s hair back “do you want to start it or do you want me to stay a little longer?”
dean nodded. “that’s fine.. sorry to put you to work straight away.. but there’s this guy we need you to check up..” he said and looked to the infirmary.

Daryl glanced at Rick. He was silent for a bit. “...You could always join me.” He aaid

Castiel tilted his head. “...Very well.” Castiel said. He then turned, heading over to the infirmary Dean had gestured to. He then moved inside it, glancing around.

he looked at daryl and blinked. “are you asking me to?”
doc was inside, gently trying to fix the bird’s wing and mumbling to her softly. “thank you for trying to protect me..” he mumbled. “but you can’t do that. you nearly got killed..” the bird gave a weak squawk. “i know, i know.” he didn’t even hear the door open.

Castiel enters the room, looking around before his eyes landed on Doctor. This must be who Dean was talking about. He slowly moved over. “Are you alright?” Castiel asked

he sighed. “daryl, do you really want me to? i’m not going to unless you’re certain.” he said.
he looked over and frowned. he nodded and signed out ‘bird’ and ‘hurt’. nevermore gave a pitiful little squawk and pecked doc’s hand slightly when he touched her wing. he gently held her head away as he got ready to set the wing.

Castiel watched. “Your friend is hurt?” He askes. He slowly approached them. He looked the bird over. “I can help her.” He aid

he nodded. “alright.” he moved to get the water running and sat on the edge of the bathtub, sighing softly as he started to unbutton his shirt. he shrugged it off and set it aside.
he watched the other man and slowly moved his hand away.

Castiel moves over, gently touching the bird. His eyes started glowing after a minute as he started healing her

he looked at daryl and blinked. “do you need help?” he asked, still seeming worried.
doc backed away once nevermore started flapping her wings and he gripped the wooden cross around his neck.
