a few months had passed, and wade had just been welcomed into the group. they had practically cleaned out the orchard, but the peaches had made everyone sick, so they had moved on. currently, they were holed up in a library, and julian was on the roof, sat in a beach chair with a book in hand, and his rifle sat on his legs. he was reading quietly, mumbling the words to himself.

Wade was less skittish then he had been when he first arrived, but that didn't mean that he was just entirely fine. He still seemed nervous sometimes, and it was obvious that he still missed the members of his old group. This was one of those times when he had been missing his old boyfriend, so he had decided to head up to the roof to get some fresh air. Sighing, he walked out before noticing Julian was there. He blinked before saying softly, "Oh, I didn't know anybody else was up here..."

julian looked up and smiled slightly. “hey. don’t worry. just come sit.”

Wade blinked and seemed to hesitate, but moved over and sat down, saying softly, "Uhm, hey. What are you reading?"

he blinked. “just a old book i read at a kid.” he said and smiled.

He smiled and said, nodding, "Ah, I see. I've been trying to find some old vet books I read when I was a child whenever we go by a book store or library, but most of them are ransacked."
