Connor gave a small nod. He glanced Maddox over for a moment “Thank you.” He murmured. He then waited a moment before looking over at Hank. He slowly moved to the other. Hank sighed, pulling Connor into a hug.

“Don’t you ever wander off again without us both there. Alright?” Hank asked. Connor nodded.

“Yes sir.” He murmjred. He then hesitated before hugging him back.

maddox watched, taking note on the hug and looking around.

After a moment, Hank pulled away. “Come on.” He murmjred, opening the car door. Connor stopped, looking st the other Connor model. Hank blinked, taking the model out and hauling him inside.

Connor then got into the car. He seemed to space out a bit, leaning against the door.

Conor was silent for a moment. “...I killed people Maddok.” He whispered. He looked over at him. “Self defense of not, I’m still going to get in trouble. Especially from attacking people at Cyberlife.” He whispered

he shook his head. “no. that’s their own fault, and according to their laws, they broke it by unlawfully taking you and replacing you without us knowing. you won’t get in trouble.. because it’s also not documented. so, technically, they can’t say you did it.”

Connor was silent. “...Doesn’t matter. I attacked them. I disobeyed orders. I felt...I felt scared.” He whisoered. Connor released a quiet breath. “Im a deviant, aren’t I? That in itself is a crime.” He whispered

he frowned. “no. if you were deviant, you be in jericho. what you did was lawful and protecting your model from being destroyed by lawbreakers.” he snapped, getting very frustrated. “they can’t do anything! ok? they took you unlawfully, without hanks knowledge, and tried to replace you! you. are. not. in. trouble!”
