Connor watched him. "I will be alright, Maddok." He murmured. He then turned, leaving the room.

he watched him and sighed, sitting up.

After a few hours had passed, Connor arrived back at Hank's place. He entered the house, only to be greeted by Hank. Hank was leaning against the wall, his arms cross over his chest. He looked over at him. Connor looked Hank over before glancing away. "Care to explain why you didn't bother waking me up?" He asked.

"Didn't need you getting in the way." Connor murmured.

maddox was sat a little away, looking down a nd twiddling his thumbs. “you could’ve gotten hurt. it could have been another trap, connor.” he muttered.

Connor looked atMaddox. He was silent for a moment. “It wasn’t. I did what I had to do.” Connor whispered. He then slowly moved over toMaddox, sitting beside him

he frowned. “and what did you do connor?”

He was silent for a moment. “I found Jericho." He whispered

he stared at him, seeming a bit shocked.

Hank blinked in surprise. “Jericho? The safe haven for deviants?” Hank asked. Connor nodded. “And? That’s it? You just found Jericho?” Hank asked

“Yes. Nothing else happened. I just located it.” Connor said. After a bit, he turned on the tv. Hank frowned, looking over at the news. Connor’s light instantly lit up in red once he spotted Jericho showing up on the news. The news reporter had started talking about how the military had attacked Jericho and killed most of the androids inside while some managed to escape.

Connor’s eyes widened and his light blinked rapidly in red. “No...” Connor whispered quietly. “No humans were supposed to find that place.” He whispered shakily. Connor glanced down. “They used me...” He muttered under his breath.
