Elijah was built for one thing. To care for those in the hospital. He was a prototype nurse assistant Android. Many were skeptical about him being there. But, he was assigned to dealing with patients when the nurses were busy or administering medicine hourly for those who needed.

Things were fine. He had been working at the Detroit hospital for the past two months now without a problem. Until today. One of the patients had died from a sudden cardiac arrest. Elijah had tried to bring back the patient since the other nurses were busy. But the patient didn’t make it.

He had been named for the patients death and he had been chased out of the hospital rather violently. Elijah was now wandering the streets with a slight limp. His leg had been damaged from when the others had chased him out of the hospital. He had supplies with to fix it. But he was trying to find a safe place to repair himslef.

He had been a bit too distracted and didn’t notice the other male until he bumped into him. Elijah froze. “I’m sorry sir.” Elijah said, quickly moving away from him. He then looked the other over to make sure he wasn’t hurt.

Connor had been on his normal rounds with hank when someone ran into him and oooked over him, eyes slightly wide. “Oh. It’s alright.” He stated and looked him over. “Are you alright?” He asked, seeing the injured leg and frowning. “You’re hurt.”

Elijah glanced the other over. He was also an Android? Elijah nodded at the question. “Nothing serious. I’ll be fine.” Elijah said.

“Who’s that Connor?” Hank said as he walked over to him. Elijah looked up at Hank. He scanned him quickly for a second, his LED flashing yellow before going back to a normal blue color

he frowned. “it’s an an elijah model. he seems to be hurt.” he said.

Hank looked him over. “I’ve never seen one of you around before.” Hank said.

“I’m a new prototype. I was sent to work in a hospital. If you haven’t been there in the past so months, that’s why you haven’t seen me.” He said

he blinked. “how did you get hurt?”

He sighed. “They chases me out of the hospital and I got hurt along the way.” He whisoered

he frowned. “why did they chase you out?”

He sighe, looking down. “One of the patients there had died of a sudden cardiac arrest. It was late at night. Not many doctors or nurses were left in the building, so I was in charge of the first floor for the night. I tried reviving the patient, but there was nothing I could have done. One of the doctors that found me by the body assumed I killed him. He got the others and they chased me out of the building. I’ve been wandering ever since to find a safe place to rest for a few minutes so I can repair my leg.” He sais

he frowned. “hank, go to the hospital.” he said and frowned. “i’m going to take this one somewhere safe so he can fix his leg.”
