he gestured them inside and sighed. “i’m cameron.” he introduced.

The two entered. Looking around. Ellie seemed to move closer to Joel. “I’m Joel. This is my daughter Ellie.” Joel said

he nodded and hummed. "nice to meet you two." he said and led them to a building, getting a key from his pocket. "top floor, the old pent house." he said and help it out.

They followed beside them. “Thank you.” He murmjred. Ellie glanced around, nodding.

he nodded. "no problem. be sure you both wash up, get something to eat.. we have running water, but its cold." he explained and held the door open for them. "also, don't eat all of the meat."

“We still need to be careful though. You can’t trust people these days.” Joel said. He then set a hand on her shoulder. “Now go lay down and get some rest.” He said
