He blinked, nodding. “Yes sir.” He murmured. He then lowered the gun a bit when he realized Gabe still had his hand on his arm. “....Sir...Can you let go of my arm?” He asked quietly. His voice held a bit of fear in it.

Jack watched Jesse curiously, frowning a bit. Ana watched him.

he blinked and moved his hand. “sorry, didn’t realise i was still holding your arm.@
he said and looked st ana. “you keep going with him, jack and i have paperwork we have to fill
out.”

Ana nodded. “I will. Don’t worry about us Gabe.” Ana said, smiling. She then moved over to him.

Jack watched the two before heading out with Gabriel. Once out of the room, he sighed. “It’s clear the kid has been abused in the past.” Jack said. “That explains why he’s just using anger and stubbornness to cover up fear and he’s prone to lash out.” He said.

he nodded. “i know that look anywhere..”

He frowned. “Guess I shouldn’t have been too hard on him in the holding cell. That probably didn’t help him any.” He said. He was silent for a moment. “Be careful with him when he starts working with you.” Jack said

he nodded. “next time you see him, apologise.” he said softly and kissed him gently.

He nodded. “I will.” He said. He then kissed him back softly before looking ahead.
