of course, when ray saw archer headed to malory’s office, he had followed a bit he und and was listening through the cracked door. he stared at the wall in slight shock when he heard archer and covered his mouth to keep from literally screaming? eyes wide. he looked through the door crack to see malory’s reaction, nknoeing he wouldn’t hesitate to dfend archer if he had to.

Malory's eyes were wide in shock, and she opened her mouth, her face red with rage, but Archer cut in, snarling, "Don't even, Mother. I'm so fucking tired of this. I don't care what you think of him. I love Ray, and you can fuck off." He then turned and stalked out of the room swinging the door open — before pausing when the door simply bumped into someone's chest. Blinking and looking up, the color drained from his face when he saw Ray, "Babe...? H-How long have you been there?"

he jumped and looked at archer, before throwing his arms around his neck and kissing him gently.

A soft squeak left him before he slowly wrapped his arms around the other, his hands gently pressing against the small of Ray's back as he kissed back.

he pulled away after a moment. “we’re you being serious?! would you marry me if i asked you?” he asked softly.

He blinked and nodded slowly, saying softly, "Yeah, I meant everything I said. I'd marry you in a heartbeat.."

[dannychan]

he looked over him, eyes wide. “marry me.” he said softly, moving to cup the males face.

Archer's eyes widened to huge spheres, and he stared at Ray for a moment before nodding wildly, mumbling quickly, "Yes, yes, yes. I'll marry you. Fuck, I will marry you a million times over." He then moved to kiss the other deeply, his heart beating wildly.

Things for Archer and Ray had been going pretty well so far. Ray had stepped up as AJ's second parental figure, and Archer was more smitten with him than ever. Unfortunately, Pam had somehow managed to find out that they were together, and thus his Mother had found out as well. He already had a bad feeling when Cheryl came to tell him Malory wanted to see him, and he felt even worse when she mentioned that she seemed very angry. Sighing, he had gotten up and slowly moved to his Mother's office, not even noticing Ray following him to listen. Once the door to the office was closed, Malory began on her berating, scowling, "Of all the people that you could have been dating, you chose Ray? This is ridiculous! That man is... Insufferable! You can't seriously be dating him! What do you expect to come from this relationship? Are you just stringing him along? I hope to god you are. I mean, really? Do you think he loves you? Do you love him? Do you think this will lead to some kind of fucked up marriage?!" Archer had finally had it, and he snapped, "Yes! I love him more than anything, Mother! He's helped me with AJ, he's an amazing man, and sweet, and handsome, and I would marry him in a heartbeat if he asked me! And I'm so fucking tired of you badmouthing him! God I'm glad you found out so I could finally fucking tell you off!"
