Jesse leaned into Gabe, keeping close to him. He then hugged him back, gripping his shirt. “T-That...That’s wasn’t me...Who fired.” Jesse whimpered.

Jack frowned, glancing around. He then spotted a window that would have been right in front of Jesse. He slowly approached it, glancing out the window. He didn’t see anyone there. However he did see a bullet hole in it that lines up to where the bullet was in the wall. He frowned.

“Okay. Come on. Both of you get back on the dropship.” Jack said.

Gabe nodded and gently brushed jesse’s tears away. “cmon kid. let’s get you home..”

Jesse glanced up at Gabe. His breath hitches a bit, but he nodded after a moment. Jack then moved over, helping Jesse up to his feet and then Gabe. He started leading them back to the dropship. Jesse stuck close to Gabe as he followed alongside him
