It had been a few weeks later. Sherlock had been feeling better, so John was relieved about that. John and Sherlock had been hanging out at the flat. John was sitting down at the kitchen table, reading over the news. Sherlock was just doing his experiments.

John jumped however when the door suddenly opened. He glanced over, seeing a bunch of police officers heading in. John frowned.

“Uh...Do you need something officers?” John asked.

“Yes. Sherlock Holmes, you’re under the arrest for murder.” An officer said, moving over. John frowned.

“Murder? Sherlock has been here this entire time.” John said, looking them over

sherlock scowled. “excuse me? i’ve been sick these entire two weeks. i haven’t even left the flat. what evidence have you got? and where’s your arrest warrant?”

An officer moved over with an arrest warrant. It was sighed by a higher up member. “We found some of your belongings there at the crime scene. And we found a gun that had been fired with your fingerprints on it.” The officer said.

John frowned. “That’s impossible. Yes Sherlock owns a gun, but he has not fired it once since I’ve arrived here. That has been about three months now.” John said.

“Sorry sir. But the eveindce adds up. So we need to take him. But please, if you feel you’re smarter then Scotland Yard and can get to the bottom of this when we couldn’t, then sure. We’ll release Mr. Holmes. But you’re not a detective nor a policeman. You’re a civilian so good luck coming up with anything that we trained professionals have missed." The officer said.

John stared at them, frowning. He then rose  to his feet wen another officer moved over to handcuff Sherlock. John watched them before narrowing his eyes. No, he wasn’t Sherlock. But he sure as hell wasnt going to let his friend rot in jail.

“...I will get to the bottom of this, Sherlock.” John whispered, glancing up at the taller male. He then glanced at the officers. “ In fact, I’ll bring the real murderer right to you.” John muttered, glancing at the police officers. They merely started laughing.

“Alright then. Amuse us. We’ll be waiting.” An officer said.

he frowned. “how could my gun be at the scene if it’s on my person?” he snapped, hissing. “who sighed the warrant? does lestrade know? if lestrade didn’t sign, then you’re not legally allowed to preform an arrest.” he snapped.

The men frowned. “Lestrade is well aware of this. And he isn’t the higher up. He’s not the boss. He’s just an inspector detective.” The officer said.

John frowned. “...That doesn’t add up, where is the gun you found? Is it with you?” John asked

“No. It’s in the evidence room.” He said

he frowned. “my gun is in the back of my pants waist band. go ahead and look if you’d like, but whoever’s gun you found wasn’t mine. gun serial number is XG014039.” he stated. “type of gun is SIG-Sauer P226R.”

/actual gun he uses, don’t know about the serial number tho..

The officer moved over, taking the gun out and examine it. He frowned. “Look whatever is going on we still need to take you to holding. So don’t make this difficult. Just come with us we’ll get this sorted out.” He said

he scowled. “no. you’re wasting my time, so if you’d like to clear this up, figure out who’s trying to frame me, and then we can ‘clear things up’.” he snapped.
