Jack glanced around before looking at Gabriel. He then walked out alongside him, closing the door behind them. He then started walking down the sidewalk

he followed, sighing. he warily looked around, frowning.

Jack glanced over at Gabe. He sighed. “...Baby, I know it’s hard. But you got to think...Olivia is 16. Two more years from now she’ll be graduating. She’s a legal adult then. She’ll be moving off, getting a job, doing her own thing. We aren’t going to be able to shelter her forever.” He said

he frowned. “i know, and i’m ready for that. i’m just not ok with some guy coming around and claiming that he’s her dad. i mean, she hasn’t seen the dude in years, how can she be so sure it’s him? and after the whole thing with the gang too? something just doesn’t add up. and from what i know, no one was allowed to tell her mother where she was for safety reasons, so how does he even know where she is unless she’s contacting him?” he asked.

He frownwd. “I don’t know Gabe but from what we know and from how we saw her mother act, maybe her mom wasn’t exactly a truthful woman either. And..Well, its a gang, Gabe. She left Los Muertos. I don’t know what she told them but maybe they know where she lives so they let him know of her location in hopes that something happens to her.” Jack said

he rubbed his face and shook his head. “we need to move.” he stated.

Jack was quiet for a moment. He did have some money saved up. He was sure they could find an affordable place somewhere. “...Gabe you may be blowing things out of proportions. He didn’t seem all that threatening. If he wanted to take Olivia by force, he would have tried something before.” Jack said

he frowned. “no, because he had witnesses then. you know who also seems completely safe and innocent? ana. but she can and will kill a man if he so much as looks at her daughter in a way she doesn’t like. people are capable of anything, and who knows what he’s been up to or why he hasn’t been able to see her?”

He frowned. “...I suppose so.” He said. He was silent for a moment. “...We’ll look into some places.” Jack said. After a while, he frowned. “...Should we really have left Olivia home alone then?” He asked quietly

he looked down. “god damn it.” he then turned and started rushing back to the house.
