[I]THALIA R.
[I]BUT WE JUST ALWAYS SEEM TO JUST FALLOUT WHEN I'M MOST IN NEED OF IT
their deals almost never went to plan, not that they truly planned well, but this was was going really downhill and fast. they arrived to more people than they had expected and now the buyers were claiming they were shorting them. thalia wasn't one of the ones that dealt directly with the buyers, she was more a planner and part of the brawn during the actual missions, so she watched the argument go on between luca, dahlia, and the leader of the others.
the fact that they were incredibly outnumbered and the raised voices caused her anxiety to spike. she held her gun even tighter than before to compensate for the excessive sweat because of this. trying to keep her gaze even to not miss anything, her dark brown eyes landed on blake. the two stood a few feet behind their partners and wider than they did; this really wasn't going to end well. thalia was looking at blake to make sure he was paying attention, ready for whatever would end up happening.
as well, she wanted to make sure no one was creeping in on him; he had a bit of a track record of being pretty clueless, so, he might not even notice. she cared for blake the most out of the group, they didn't always see eye to eye, but he was her safe place. thalia couldn't afford to have anything happen to him.
her timing ended up cursed, though. right as she took her attention away from the issue at hand, a gun went off. everything went quiet and everyone froze for a moment since no one was really sure who had fired, but thalia knew it hadn't been them. the yelling started moments later. she held her gun up, pointing it from person to person to make sure they all kept their distance from the small group.

[b][I]LUCA S.
[I]AND SOMEBODY WORKS FOR THEM AND, SO, THEY THINK THEY GOT IT MADE
by now, luca knew the drill; him and dahlia did the majority of the talking while thalia and blake were there for protection. he liked it this way, he liked having more control of the situation and he felt as though this gave him that. he also felt required to since it was kind of his family's business and he had grown up in this. he had gotten used to how things worked; the buyers always tried to sway him. they'd try everything to pay the least amount and get the most product. luca knew he just had to be firm and hold his ground.
[b]"no. we agreed on twenty-four grams and that's what's here; if you don't believe me, you can waste everyone's time here by weighing it." he explained curtly then followed by a small sigh. the buyer continued to claim that they had wanted thirty grams and that what they had wasn't even twenty-four. he rolled his eyes at this, groaning some in annoyance. "ya know what," he said, putting his hands out, signaling for quiet, "i'm getting impatient and we're not leaving without our payment, so you have fifteen seconds to pay, or we take the money and the drugs. your choice." he said, a sternness in his voice that let everyone know he was serious.
that's when the single gunshot happened. the silence that settled over them was like the calm before the storm. yelling began which made luca close the case that held the bags of cocaine. another gun sounded and that only made it more clear this wasn't going to end well and it was ending fast."dahlia, take this. i'll get the cash." luca instructed, praying that she would follow his orders just once.
