Nine had stayed directly beside Gavin. Was he scared? Hell no. He knew nothing would harm them. But he was merely there to offer Gavin some comfort with his presence. His led isnatntly turned a solid red when he heard a noise from the bedroom. He didn’t know what Gavin was thinking, but he was well aware it had to be someone who had broken in.

Nine frowned, heading over to where he knew they kept their guns. He then took one before starting to slowly head up the stairs. He scanned around slowly, keeping his gun ready as he slowly entered the bedroom

not wanting to be alone, he slowly followed, whimpering softly.

Nine glanced back at Gavin before looking ahead. He could see from the faint moonlight shining through the window that someone else was on the room. And it was clear the person spotted them as well.

Nine’s free hand quickly moved to the wall, flicking on the light to the bedroom and he quickly raised the gun, aiming it towards the man who was in the room. Once the lights flicked on, the man froze, aiming a gun at Nine as well. Within a split second, Nine and the man quickly fired the guns at each other. The man seemed to drop down and Nine stumbled back, his teeth gritting as he lowered the gun

at the gun fire, he had dropped the candle, the flame going out as he did and quickly moved to nines. his fingers had slight wax burns under the dried wax that had dropped onto his fingers. “are you ok?” he asked, voice shaking.

Nine’s led was blinking red a bit rapidly, his gaze fixed on the man who was laying on the floor. He wasn’t dead. Nine didn’t talk to Gavin. His led changed yellow as he called an ambulance. The guy would get in trouble, but he still deserved to get medical treatment first. Nine spoke to the ambulance for a moment before his led turned back to red.

Nine then glanced at Gavin. “...I’m fine.” He said

he set a shaky hand on his cheek before wrapping his arms around his neck and hugging him tightly.

Nine watched him. He then raised his arms, wrapping them around Gavin. He then held him close

he took a shaky breath and nuzzled him. “fuck..”

Nine shushed him softly. He kept his gaze locked on the male on the floor to make sure he wouldn’t try anything. Nine seemed to slump a bit. He looked a bit afraid

he looked over him and gently brushed through his hair, holding him tightly. he kissed his cheek gently before moving away to take the mans gun and set it away, handcuffing him to the bed until paramedics got there.
