— with so much going on in mateo’s life - a kid on the way, finding time to see sel, trying to keep his good friend green in line - he felt like he hadn’t had time to try and relax. how long had it been since he’d gotten to step foot on the beach and do whatever he wanted? for a day with fairly decent weather like today, it seemed like wandering out onto the sand, frisbee in one hand, seemed only natural. a change in pace after constantly seeming so busy. he glanced around at the rest of the people also on the beach. a grin slowly made its way to his lips.
“hey!” he called out to one of the nearby beach-goers, waiting to have their attention before tossing the frisbee in their direction. “ever thrown a frisbee before?” it wouldn’t hurt to get a group going. the frisbee fell a bit flat, landing in front of the person’s feet. he chuckled lowly. “hope you’re better at it than i am.” mateo suarez never looked so relaxed. one glance at him and he looked like the perfect example of carefree, relaxed, and happy. he liked to think he deserved to be so happy with the life he had been blessed with. a life he had worked so hard to get.
who wouldn’t be envious of such a lifestyle?
