Rocket may or may not have stolen peters zune(?) in the middle of the night, having had quite a bad nightmare. He leaned on the little kitchen counter on their ship, looking through the songs and stopping on a slightly odd song. It was only odd because it wasn't from the 80s. It was one of elvis's songs, called "can't help falling in love". Rocket knew this song. One of the scientists used to hum it. He would just lay there and listen when he did, and he would enjoy it. It had been his only real joy in life. He ighed and began to sway, humming along and pretending his had someone to dance with, his hands up like he was holding someone and moving slowly. Yes, this was his dance, his songc his happiness.

Peter had woken up in the middle of the night from yet another shocking nightmare about his family and pushed himswlf up, only to find that he didn't have his MP3 player. He frowned and got to his feet, going to search through the ship. It was a while before he found Rocket, and he froze up when he saw what the other was doing. Raising an eyebrow, he watched for a long moment before he said quietly, taking a step into the kitchen and tilting his head, "Rocket? Are you.. are you dancing...?"

Rocket jumped, practically dropping the mp3 and grabbing it before it his the ground. "I don't know wagst you're talking about!" He said, turning and looking at quill. He took out the ear buds and pushed the MP3 away and into peters chest. "I was just.. looking around the kitchen. That's all."

[peridot.]

He smirked a little bit as he took the MP3, and he said softly, still grinning mischievously, "You're lying~ Oh my god, you were dancing! That's adorable." He then stepped forward, still holding the MP3 as he gently reached for Rocket, "It looked really awkward without another person though."

He moved away, glaring at him. "I wasn't dancing.."

"You were, Rocket. I saw you." He said with a little smile, his head tilted playfuy, "I'm not gonna make fun of you, I just figured that maybe I could help~"

[dannychan]

He shifted and frowned softly. "If you tell anyone about this, I claw your tongue out.."

[peridot.]

"I promise I won't tell anybody, Rocket." He said softly, holding his hands out to the other with a smile.
