He made a soft noise and kissed back, closing his eyes and staying still for a long moment before saying quietly, smiling a little bit, "I can't believe you acknowledged I said that."

"I know, but... You don't usually show many emotions, so I'm surprised you told me you loved me." He said softly, laying and looking into Rocket's eyes with a still slightly surprised expression.

He blinked and smirked slightly. "I love you." He whispered, trying to get him to do.. anythibg, really. Stop crying, mostly.

As the other spoke, Peter blinked and seemed to be paused before he began to blush, and he hid his face in his hands, but it wasn't because he was crying, it was because he was genuinely flustered as he said softly, "You're making my face red, trash panda~"
