Fore had continued to sleep, sometimes occasionally letting out a soft snore, or mumbling and again shifting to make itself just a bit more comfortable.

Shaxda, meanwhile, had gone on to the daunting task of making, drumroll please, pancakes. For lunch. Absolutely thrilling. The human was kind of prancing around the kitchen, as he did not expect for Gala to return anytime soon, singing softly but off key all the while. The most embarrassing of things to be walked in on.

Fore gave a mumble at the kiss, it's one red eye slightly blinking open, but the kid was asleep again in moments. A warm bed could do that to one.

Shaxda jumped when the other spoke, ceasing his singing instantly. "What...? Couldn't do what?" The vibrant green haired human inquired, eyes going a little bit wider than they needed to be as he spoke.

he sniffed softly, rubbing his eyes as tears began to form. "take him back.. i.. holding a child reminded me of how much i loved being a dad and.. i couldn't take him back.." he said, voice cracking. "i just... i just want to be a dad again.." he whispered, wiping the tears quickly as they began to fall

Shaxda frowned when he noticed that the other was starting to cry, uncertainly reaching forward with a hand. "Oh..but I thought you said if we kept him we'd be criminals?" He seemed genuinely, and slightly confused he glanced around the home. "Hey, hey, I feel you, I totally feel you. And I never made the ransom call...thing..they probably don't even know he is missing yet."

he let the other touch him, accepting the comfort. he sniffed. "do you.. know where they live..? maybe if you take him back it'll be easier.."

Shaxda slowly shook his head, gripping his hand on the other's. "No, I found it at the park." He answered, breathing out a sigh. "And I'm the one that took it...think I'd get shot if I brought it back. I'm sure if we just kept it for...a day, nothing would go wrong. Right?"

he sniffed softly, looking up at him. "you think so..?" he asked softly.

Shaxda shook his head yet again. "It's just a day. That should work, right?" He smiled, reaching up with his free hand to brush some of his stray, vibrant green hair from his eyes. "Then we can both take it back. Also it's a good thing you didn't actually take it when you left...it left it's crutch here."
