military school really wasn't all that terrible. from day one, most of the kids were too scared to mess with him, thanks to the beat down he had given to some dude that tried to beat him first. now, during the first day of training, he seemed even more ready than he had ever been. they had been given partners to do training with, but he couldn't remember the guys name (your character). at the moment, his whole first class was out on the field, just stretching for now. it was the first day so they were going easy on the new arrivals. carl had never been too active, but he had always been fairly active. he looked up when he saw someone move in front of you (your character), squinting against the sun. "uh.. can i help you?" carl asked.

Josh

Josh was one of the new students to join the military school. He didn’t know what to expect, but it was nice so far. He was assigned to have a partner though for training. Someone named Carl? He had asked around before someone directed him to where Carl was. He soon moved over to the male. He blinked.

“Hello. You’re Carl right?” Josh asked

he moved a hand to shield his eyes from the sun. "depends. who's asking?" he asked, leaning back on one hand.

He blinked, wathing him. “I’m Josh. I’m a new member here and I was told that I was assigned to Carl as a partner for training.” He siadn

he blinked. "oh. yeah, that's me." he said, pushing himself to stand up. "so, do you want to go start training or something or.. did you want to go get to know each other or something?"

He looked him over. “I just thought it’d be nice to get to know you first.” He said, smiling.

he nodded and blinked. "well, we should walk or something so we doing get yelled at." he said and craned his neck to look up at the other male. why was everyone taller than him?
