what are things you love and hate about roleplaying??

ok, so i'm just curious but: what are things that make you love roleplaying and what are things that's make you hate it??
so, for me it's,
love: meeting new people and learning new writing styles and such. being able to interact with people you don't have to actually physically talk to
hate: being museless, possible toxicity, paranoia about making a character no one likes

LIKES: Developing a character to the point that they are their own person. Being able to have fun without needing close social interaction. Building relationships both IC and OOC. Designing whole worlds out of just words. Finding friends even if I'm bad at that.
DISLIKES: Feeling the need to interact OOC. Worrying about what other people think about me or my characters. Worrying about feeling or being ignored/overlooked.

likes: making a character out of the norm, blowing people's minds with advanced plots, d e t a i l s  a n d  s y m b o l i s m
dislikes: lack of time, love plots (nothing against them, just never managed to get one to work), honestly ranking systems. They kinda freak me out, stress with in game promotions, m+g's and weekly tasks
