Mara wasn't one to endanger her own life often- actually, screw that idea, because she was always climbing on things. It gave her a height advantage, and allowed her to access parts of the city that were closed off to others - she was light, which meant a distinct advantage when it came to climbing on crumbling buildings; add that to her previous experience in climbing over obstacles to scout, both natural and manmade, and she was practically an expert. In fact, she had found that leaving her shoes off and instead wrapping cloth about her feet would get better grip, because shoes were clunky anyway.

So here she was, hanging off the second floor window of a house, and trying to reach across the narrow street to the adjacent building, the only indication of her presence being her boots left in the mud where she had started climbing, and the shadow she cast onto the street below. The interesting thing about this house in particular? The ground floor was sealed off by rubble, so it was impossible for most others to get in. A prospective new camp, so she had decided to investigate.

She didn't count on anyone walking past, though. She liked to think the others would either ignore her, or be in the other, less dilapidated portions of the city.

It wasn't like Tatiana was up to anything, she was doing her usual thing when she was bored.  Walking around the badlands, blowing her bubblegum, letting it pop every so often, but keeping a steady gait.  But the girl had wandered quite a bit, she had been to every inch of the Badlands, everything to be seen by the girl had been seen at least she believed that to be so.  Stretching her back as she walked, her green optics had glanced upwards. 

And once they had looked upwards they locked onto the dangling figure of Mara.  She didn't know much about the girl, she reminded Tatiana of a deer.  Graceful, peaceful, fragile, and seemingly not dangerous at all.  Of course everyone in the Badlands was dangerous, even if you didn't think so.  Tat just didn't know that side of Mara was all it seems.  "Hey, what you doing up there?"  The teen spoke as she looked up at the girl a year younger then her.

( whoops this is late. I should be getting into a better routine now, though, so my posting should be getting more regular. )

Mara wasn't dangerous in the traditional 'i'm gonna directly cave you're skull in' sense that the badlands seemed to favour. She was near enough silent, and worked with scouting and traps - this didn't make her any less dangerous, it just made her more evasive than hostile, which seemed to carry through to her regular interactions. She froze when she heard the voice, but then continued on with her business, leaping to the other side of the street and getting her elbow over a rather unstable-looking window ledge, pulling herself up with the help of footholds.

Only when she had made it onto the windowsill, and perched there, had she looked down to whomever it was talking to her. "Oh, uh, hello. I'm just- just trying to find someplace others can't get to." she explained, not recalling running into this girl previously.
