god dammit, he was late! robin had been tasked with the chore of getting some materials for the green house a couple days ago, but he had ended up getting sick with a cold soon after, which greatly hindered his ability to do anything. you would think it wouldn’t be all that bad since a cold is just coughing and sneezing, but no, he was like a ticking time bomb. if so much as a hair landed on the brunette’s nose snot was sure to go everywhere. hell, his bed was filled with crusty tissues.

anyway, his nose and throat were feeling pretty decent compared to last week, so robin had finally made his way over to the basement johannes had mentioned, taking a moment to mumble something before going down the stairs. there better not be any ghosts down here. or else someone was going to get their ass kicked. but luckily for him the basement appeared to be ghost free, and actually leaned towards the boring side. there was junk cluttered everywhere, and the whole place smelled faintly of must and cobwebs, well, if cobwebs had a smell.

the next couple of minutes were spent picking up pieces of wood or plastic and moving them to the base of the stairs, trying to ignore the slight burn in his muscles. to be honest, robin was not anywhere near strong. just picking up a couple of boards made him break out in a sweat. on the other hand, most of the other guys here could probably lift double of that, and they would certainly complain less. who knows, maybe he would be better off asking for help. but let's be honest, if not for his pride, the teen would've already done so. "stupid boards." he murmured, lightly kicking one of the planks. "where's a wizard when you need one?"
