buck honestly thought moving to the big city would be like in the movies. a montage of him looking out the window in wonder, getting to his new home and being disgusted, going to school and instantly being the talk of the school.. but none of that happened. except for maybe the apartment thing. he had gotten to school and instantly been pointed to a guidance counsellor, who took him to his first class.. which was french. the teacher was delighted to have a new student, and had tried to get him to say his name in french and such, but he had stood, frozen in place and mortified as he stared at the ground.
"uh.. alright.. buckley, was it?" she asked. he hesitated. "buck." he mumbled, and she smiled. "buck. why don't you take a seat next to Mr. harrison in the back? he's the one with the whitish hair." she explained, and he did as told. he was far to nervous to start any sort of conversation.

Harrison wasn't too intrigued by the new student, but he figured he might as well be nice to him, since the poor kid looked like he was going to have a panic attack or something in the middle of class. He said softly, turning to look at the other and tilting his head, "Hey, I'm Harrison. You alright?"

[dannychan]

he hesitated, nodding. "just nervous.." hebmumblec.

He frowned and said softly, shaking his head a little bit, "Oh. You'll be alright. Try not to stress too much."

[dannychan]

he hesitated. "i don't even know how to open a locker." he breathed, staring at his bag between his feet.

[peridot.]

He blinked and tilted his head, saying softly, "Have you never been to a school before? It's not that hard to open a locker. I can teach you, if it's that much of an issue." He smirked a bit crookedly, humming.

[dannychan]

he shook his head. "i mean, i've been inside one once but i lived two hours from the nearest school.." he said.

[peridot.]

"Well... don't worry about it, you'll get used to things." He said, smiling slightly at the other and trying to comfort him.

grew up in louisiana on a small farm all the way out in the boondocks that is the most southern word you'll ever hear me say but had to move to chicago after his mother passed away due to his father not being able to stand the thought of staying on their little farm, and having gotten a job in chicago.
knows anything and everything about animals (farm wise), and spends a lot of time in the school library, or at small coffee shops.
incredibly sweet but can and will knock your teeth out. has that certain southern charm. has a pretty thick accent but he can be understood. hasn't sworn a day in his life and has never once said "oh my god". incredibly innocent, only knows what they teach you in sex ed and in biblestudy, was homeschooled his entire life.

Has grown up in Chicago his entire life with his single mother and his cousin who moved in with them a couple of years ago after his aunt and uncle died.
Very much a smart ass and a scrappy person, very snarky and happy most of the time.
He can be very nervous about big changes and is a very kept to himself person who's hard to get close to, but nice to be casual friends with.
