Jared is a scientist. He works in the feild of paleontology. He's very enthusiastic about work. He's very kind to others. He's a bit more reserved when talking about his personal life, but when he gets to know others well enough and trusts them, he'll open up. He's also pretty clumsy, which has led to some problems in the past.

the youngest "king" to rule his tribe, and the only kind to not have caused a war with other tribes.
his tribe speaks primarily mongolian, but he can speak arabic, english (though it's broken), spanish, and swahili because of the other tribes on the island. his tribe is called "fylí vrochís" literally meaning "boroony ovog".
has seven sisters, all of which are younger than him, and a son that is currently 5- his mother was killed in a battle.
sort of like tarzan, as his parents crashed on the island and were killed on impact. he was raised by the king of the tribe and became king.
xolin is incredibly reserved in all aspects of his life. he doesnt like strangers, and often times sends them away to his advisor. he can be verg sweet if he likes you, but do not get on his bad side. often prefers to wear more feminine clothing, as it tends to fit him better.

Jared thought  this was just a normal business trip. He was flying towards an island out in the ocean. It was off the coast of Hawaii. He was going there to meet up with an excavation team who had discovered some bones.

However, he hadn't predicted that his plane would crash. He lost control of it and had crash landed on a island. Jared had been knocked out from the impact for about an hour. When he came to, he struggled to get out of the plane. Once out, he glanced around. It looked like a jungle from where he was. However, there were plants here that hand long since gone extinct on earth. He recognized a few from fossil remains he had learned about.

"What the hell." He whispered, glancing around. He froze when he heard a sudden chirping noise behind him. He quickly turned around, spotting a reptilian of sorts staring at him. It was bent over a bit, slowly swaying from side to side as if sizing him up. His eyes widened as he looked it over. It was a velociraptor, eyeing him. He froze. These things were extinct. How hard did he hit his head? He stared at it, taking a step back.

The raptor made a soft hissing noise as He moved. "Hey...Hey, easy boy...girl....Whatever you are." He said, slowly raising his hand, watching the dinsoaur.

there was a whistle from the trees, and a man ran through the leaves. three short whistles left him, and he tossed a small chunk of meat to the velociraptor. they were much smaller than the movies said, thankfully, only coming up to an average sized mans knees. "od, doosh! [feather, down!]" he commanded, giving three short whistles. the man was short, tanned, and wearing a traditional mongolian hunting outfit. "Ta khün an khiideggüi! [you do not hunt man!]"

The velociraptor glanced up at Zol. It tilted its head before chirping and moving over to the piece of meat, starting to eat it. Jared froze, watching the raptor before glancing up at the man in the tree. What the hell was this place?

he looked to the man, scooping up the velociraptor and frowned. "Od hurt stranger?" he asked the man, his speech heavily accented, but not to the point that he couldn't be understood.

The velociraptor chirped a bit, squirming in his arms. Jared stared at him, his eyes wide. "No I'm..." he trailed off. Was he hurt? Honestly he didn't even know if this was reality. "I'm fine...Thank you." He said

he smacked the small creature on the nose, not enough to hurt it, just a little tap. he set it down. "gertee khari. [go home.]" he commanded it, scowling, he moved to the man, and offered him a hand to help him down.

It let out a small hiss of surprise, but trotted off into the woods. Jared watched it before looking at Zol. He then took his hand, heading down. He frowned, looking around. "Where am I?" He asked

he frowned softly, having to think for a moment. it was obvious he was trying to translate. "uh.. forget.. isle." he said, seeming confused by his own words. "forget.. world. uh.." he made a confused noise at himself before his face lit up. "forgotten world! forgotten world!" he said finally. "ta nar baina 'forgotten world'. [you are in 'forgotten world'.]"
