somehow, ten had actually managed to lose murphy by just wandering off. he hadn't stopped walking for day- or was it weeks? he had lost track long ago, but even still, half zombie boys need sleep too. as he walked along a road, sniper rifle hanging loosely in his hand, eyes huge and wild as he spotted a gate. someone on the guard post was wearing a cow boy hat, had a bandage around an eye, and had a gun pointed at him. he fixed the back of his scarf so the bite mark didn't show, staring up at the male. he was about two years younger (17), and certainly had a missing eye. he was talking, but he didn't really seem to hear it, his eyes just rung as he stared up at the boy.

Carl had been on watch the whole night. He was tired, but he wasn't going to go to bed yet. He spotted a man staggering to the gas. He blinked, raising the gun and aiming it at 10. He thought he was a zombie by the way he was moving about. Carl frowned, lowering the gun a bit. "Who are you?" Carl asked

Carl froze. He quickly kneeled down beside him. He looked 10 over before lifting him into his arms. He then carried him over to the hous, leading him into the room. He laid him down on the bed
