It was pretty darn easy for Newt to be tired out by something. Whether it be an actual lack of sleep, a busy project, or just general work, he was usually tired when he returned home. He sighed as he walked up the steps to their little house/apartment, opening the door and glancing around. He called out quietly, taking off his bag and setting it on the table, "I'm home!" He looked kinda roughed up, but he always did when he got home from work, with the strong smell of burnt metal and oil around him, along with cuts all over him.

danny had been in a very lazy kind of mood all morning. she had just slugged around the house, bare footed and in just an extremely over sized shirt and underwear, and watched netflix all day. it wasn't an uncommon occurrence, really. when she waited on car parts, she had nothing better to do. at the sound of her husband, she would get up and move off to greet him, smiling. "howdy, howdy." she greeted and kissed him gently. "coffee or tea?"

He returned the kiss happily, sighing softly. He gave her a weak smile and said quietly, head tilted to one side, "Coffee, please." He then said, giggling a bit, "You look like you had a busy day."

she smirked. "ah, yes, a busy day or trying to do a single push up and tending to the single, already dead plant we own." she said and moved off to the kitchen.

He blinked and smiled a bit, shedding his jacket and saying as he sat down, "We both know you can't do a single push up~" He teased her softly as he hummed, stretching.

she hummed. "correctamundo!" she said and hummed, setting a mug in the coffee machine. "keurig, medium mug, cafinated black!" she said, and hummed.

Newt watched with a small smile, sighing and resting his head on the table. He said softly, sticking his tongue out, "Well, I'm glad you got to have a relaxing day."

she moved to brush back his hair. "what you need is some nice cuddles~"

His mood wildly fluctuates depending on his anxiety and what's going on.
Most of the time he's sweet and comedic, but he's also pretty blunt and emotionless. He usually gets embarrassed when he doesn't pick up on social or emotional cues, and cuts himself off more when he realizes he's interpreted something wrong. The opposite side of the spectrum is when he's anxious and depressed. At these points he'll be very restless and unhappy with seemingly everything, and gets very aggravated when touched without warning.
