she kissed back and nodded. "you're welcome, baby~" she said and pulled him closer. "should we call up my buddy~?"

[peridot.]

He made a soft noise as he was pulled closer, but leaned into the touch rather than pulled away, a sign he was getting more comfortable. He nodded and said, nuzzling her neck, "Yeah, we should~"

she smiled and shifted to get her phone from her pants pocket. "let's see.." she scrolled through her contacts. "cole! aha!" she said and pressed the contact, putting it on speaker. after a moment, a man picked up, and danny blinked at the voice. "uh.. cole?" she asked. "no, close though. colby." the man sounded almost tired. danny gasped and smiled. "oh my god, colby~ nice to know you two are still hanging out~" she said and hummed. "look, is cole around, i gotta talk to him." she said and there was a moment before a slightly higher pitcher and nasally voice came on. "hello?" he asked and danny hummed. "cole it's hayley! i was wondering if you remembered when you said you'd donate if peri and i ever wanted kids?" she asked. the male responded with a yeah. "do you guys want kids? that's great! we should all meet up for lunch sometime!" he said and danny sort of froze up. "uh.. like.. out..?"

Newt blinked and listened quietly, his head tilted a bit. When he heard the stress in his wife's voice, he frowned a bit and said softly, kissing her on the cheek, "It'll be okay, love.."

[dannychan]

cole blinked. "or, if you want, we can just come over!" cole offered and and danny chuckled softly. "you know me freakishly well, sweetheart." she said and hummed. "i'll text you our address. how does this weekend sound?" she asked and cole agreed. "alright, thanks, kid~" she said and hung up.

[peridot.]

He blinked and smiled a bit, saying quietly as he nuzzled the other, "Well, I suppose that's good news~"

[dannychan]

she smiled and hummed. "you know.. it's kind of weird colby was there so late and.. answered the phone.. he sounded sleepy-... oh. my. GOD." she said, and sat up. "oh my god, they're fucking!"

[peridot.]

He made a soft squeaking noise as the other sat up suddenly, and he blinked before bursting out laughing, "You don't know that!"

[dannychan]

she shook her head. "oh ho, no, no! i know my boys! they're definitely fucking!"

He smiled and gave her a long kiss, saying softly, "Thank you, love~"
