he blinked, watching as she handed out a work sheet. "how the hell you you say that?" he pointed at a particularly long french word, narrowing his eyes.

He blinked and looked down at the paper, saying the word slowly but smoothly and perfectly before looking back up at Buck, "That's how you say it."

Idk any french words so pretend he said something pretty and complicated

he stared at it, starting to try and say the word like the other, but his accent prevented him from saying it correctly. his cheeks turned red and he started over after trying to say half of it.

He blinked and smiled a bit sympathetically, repeating it again, slower this time, "I know it's hard, but if you break it up into chunks, it's not so bad."

[dannychan]

he blinked, trying his hardest to say it, but even slowly, he couldn't seem to say it.

[peridot.]

He frowned a little and said quietly, sighing, "Well.. you'll get it eventually. Just keep trying."

[dannychan]

he frowned. "only five minutes in and i'm already failing a class."

[peridot.]

He sighed and said, moving a bit closer to the other and lowering his voice when the teacher gave him a dirty look, "You're not failing. You'll do fine. You just need practice. We all do."

[dannychan]

he smiled weakly, looking at the teacher. "i uh.. i don't know french.." he whispered.

[peridot.]

"You're not supposed to know French until after you take the French class, you know. You'll catch up. She just encourages to speak in French for practice. She shouldn't get too mad if you mess up at first." He said, shrugging a little.
