he blinked. "can i just.. fill in the blanks as potato chip??"

[peridot.]

He laughed and shook his head, saying softly, "No, they won't be too happy about that, but you're not gonna do well anyways since none of us have learned this stuff yet, so just put something pretty and wrong, like 'flower', or something."

[dannychan]

he stuck the tip of his tongue out slightly and looked at the paper. "mud." he said and started scribbling random words in the blanks. instead of 'damn' he usually said 'mud' or 'muck'.

[peridot.]

He blinked and seemed confused for a moment before his eyes widened slightly and he hid his face in his elbow, giggling softly before mumbling, "Holy shit, did you just.. not curse and say mud instead? That's adorable."

[dannychan]

he blushed slightly and blinked. "uh.. yes.. i thought only adults were allowed to.." he said, looking at him. "if i ever cussed, i'm sure my daddy would beat my senseless."

[s]fun fact: all southern kids call their dads daddy. even guys.

[peridot.]

"Well, I mean, adults don't really like it if you curse, but that doesn't mean you're not allowed. Me and my friends curse all the time when we're hanging out." He said with a little crooked grin, seeming amused by the other's ways.

[dannychan]

he blinked, hesitating. "i'm not gonna take chances.. so i'll stick to muck and golly." he said and looked at his pen. he realised that he had no idea where he had gerten it from, and he looked to make sure that the other still had his writing utensil- and he did. he blinked. "where did i even get this?"

[peridot.]

He said quietly, blinking and glancing around, "I, uh, I don't know where you got it. I thought you nabbed it from me but it doesn't seem like it, so.." He gave a little shrug, smiling.

[dannychan]

he stared at the paper. "i don't even know what this means."

[peridot.]

He sighed and mumbled, "That's because you haven't learned it yet. It's a pre-quiz, Buck."
