he handed him the keys once in his car and zipped up his jacket, pulling up the hood and tugging the strings so they pulled tighter. he got into the passengers side and buckled up, leaning on the door and closing his eyes.

Nines watched Gavin for a moment before starting the car and driving to the other's place with a soft smile.

ye ye!! maybe gavin is watching some old home videos and nines is there to offer support?? but no touch cx

They were at Gavin's home, and Nines was sitting on the couch beside the other, with a fair bit of distance put between them so that Gavin was comfortable. Nines had removed his shoes and Cyberlife jacket, but still wasn't really relaxed. He was both keeping an eye on Gavin and doing work in his head at the same time, LED spinning. He occasionally glanced at the videos the other was watching, but he didn't want to make the other think he was intruding.

gavin has been sat on the couch, watching the videos on his tv and biting his nails quietly. one was of a child who looked very feminine, walking through the park with whoever was video taping. they were talking about going onto T, and it slowly progressed into things such as getting binders and top surgeries and things such as that. eventually, there was a video or a younger looking gavin, being handed a beer bottle, and chugging the entire thing in one sitting, and the man behind the camera laughing because it was obvious it wasn’t his first beer. gavin, ya this point, was in tears again but didn’t make any noise, biting his lips.

Nines' was alerted to Gavin's heightened distress by his systems almost immediately, and he blinked and shut down his work before turning to the other. He said softly to Gavin, frowning a bit as he tried to calm him, "Gavin...? Would you like some tea?"

[dannychan]

he hesitated and nodded, wiping his tears. “yeah..” he mumbled and sniffed, curling up slightly. “actually.. hit chocolate, please?”

Nines blinked and nodded, saying softly, "Of course, Gavin." Getting to his feet, the android moved into the kitchen and began to make the hot chocolate, humming and going through the steps carefully. After a little while, Nines came back with a mug and handed it to the other, sitting back down.

he hesitated. “i.. don’t like people touching me.” he mumbled. “i’m sorry. the.. hug was misleading.@ he said and rubbed his eyes. “in tired, you drive..”

"It is alright, I will keep that in mind, Gavin." Nines said, tilting his head before nodding, "And that's fine." He led the other out of the restroom and out to the parking lot, going down the side halls to avoid any curious stares.
