it was about an hour later, danny walked in wigs hum. there was no blood, which was good. "your bosses are a bunch of pussies!" she called.

Newt was curled up in the living room with his laptop on his lap, Friends playing in the background, and he looked up when he heard Danny. Snorting softly, he said with a smile, "That's... good, I guess?"

she hummed. "didn't even have to break a thing. i'll i had to do was give myself some city accent and yell at them, twirl my bat once or twice, and they agreed to not fuck with the deadlines.. they also have you a raise because i got greedy~"

He blinked and smiled, saying quietly as he giggled, "Jesus, it is amazing that you aren't a criminal."

she giggled. "oh, they banned me." she laughed.

He blinked and sighed, getting to his feet and going over to the other. He kept a bit of a distance between them - he still didn't really feel like touching right now - and said, smiling, "Guess I won't be going to any work events anytime soon."

she smiled softly. "banned from the building, that is. off sight events are a go."

He sighed and kissed back before heading for the bathroom, shaking his head a little bit.
