he nodded. "i can tell from the empire logo on your coat. that's ok. i don't blame you." he said and smiled.

[peridot.]

He blinked and glanced down at his jacket, tensing up a bit and saying softly as he walked along, frowning, "Oh, yes... right. You're not going to like... hurt me, are you? People don't like me because of the Empire.."

[dannychan]

he smiled. "nah. we don't hurt kids. or.. anyone, really."

[peridot.]

He blinked and said softly, glancing down for a moment, "Oh, okay. I was jut worried. People have tried to hurt me before. My Dad works for the Empire, and I'm a cadet, so they curse us. People have tried to kidnap me before because they think they'll get them headway with my Father, or the Empire..."

[dannychan]

he frowned. "except dad doesn't car?" he asked softly.

[peridot.]

He nodded a bit stiffly and said softly, "I almost died once. They demanded a ransom and Father denied them, and I had to fight my way out."

he frowned. "you know, if you join the resistance, we'll actually protect you." he said a bit softly

He said softly after a moment, shaking his head quickly, "I... I can't do that." Hux had been conditioned since birth to think The Empire was the ultimate good. It wasn't exactly easy to turn his back on it.

[dannychan]

he frowned. "but do you really want to be scared for the rest of your life and be fighting on the side that has destroyed entire planets of women and children and poor defenceless animals?"

[peridot.]

He said softly, nodding a bit and looking down, "I'm used to people being a lot more orderly than this. Walking in lines and stuff... not this.." He shivered a bit, frowning.
