Noctis glanced at Ignis. He gave his shoukder a soft squeeze before looking ahead.

After a while, they arrived at the house. Gladio glanced over at them. “Are you two okay?” He asksd

gladio blinked. "were fine." he said and moved to the kitchen, taking out a wine glass- one of the good ones- and took it the white wine. it was his signal to gladio that meant 'i'm going to cry if i don't get some alone time right away'.

Gladio frowned, wathing hin. “Noct, you have homework, right?” He asked. Noctis nodded. “Okay. Why don’t you go upstairs and work on it? I’ll bring you up some dinner in a bit.” He ssid. Noctis blinked, looking a bit confused.

“Okay.” He said. Noctis then moved, heading upstairs to his room. Gladio watched Noctis leave before looking at Ignis. He slowly moved over to him.

“Iggy? What happened?” He asked

iggy looked down, taking a deep breath. "i know i'm not but.. i've practically raised noct, and as we're coming back home, noct says he's not my son.." he mumbled, voice cracking as tears formed. "i.. i was just tying to protect him. i don't know what i did wrong.." he whimpered and covered his mouth.

Gladio frowned. He looked Ignis over before pulling the other into a hug. He kept him close. “Iggy...I’m sure he didn’t mean to hurt you like that. You know he has a tendacy to say things without thinking them through.” He said
